. I found the instructions great. One of the options in this pattern was the width of the skirt. I chose medium width. Next time I will try the wider version. My daughter likes to have room for movement, so I ended up adding a split in the back. This works well.
My daughter was going on a retreat with other youth. She chose both the pattern and the fabric herself. It sort of turned out with a retro look, probably because of the print on the fabric. That is fine and she is happy. Here she is:
