Burda 7875, micro fleece bolero with lace on hood.

I came across this pattern and liked it right away. I have just made a lace dress for my sister. The leftover fabric was not enough for any great new project, but I thought I could make her a bolero to match her dress.

I tried to find other reviews with this pattern, but didn’t find any. It sort of surprised me, because it really is nice. It has a tie closing and “trumpet” sleeves. I was a little unsure whether to alter the sleeves and make them more fitted, but decided not to. I am glad I didn’t, even though a more fitted look probably is a tad warmer.

.

Here is what I made today 🙂

Bellow my daughter is trying out the bolero.

Here you can see an other version I later made of the bolero. I gave this one to my sons girlfriend 🙂
